this only slightly roasted coffee is for those who are already in the know of "white coffee" and would like a little extra jolt of caffeine and don’t care for the taste of coffee. the liquid brew similar to wheat grass is very earthy and nutty flavored, with low acidity and no body. best when mixed with a flavor and milk the end result is a caffeinated beverage without the taste of coffee.

a thomas hammer ecobrew. bold: we made the puzzle slightly more complex by taking a great coffee and turning up the heat on it a little and creating a darker roasted sumatran that tones down the acidity but darkens the taste to hint at slight caramel tones only brought out with the flame.

bold: what can we say,we churn and burn to produce this classic non-acidic dark brown brew with an oily sheen that speaks bittersweet loud and clear. while it is true that the green coffee used for french roast can change, the secret to producing a french roast coffee that delivers that smooth but smokey mouth feel is all in the hand of roasting. over the past twenty years, we feel that we have perfected this roasting style and continue to produce some of the finest french roast coffee on the market.

bold: designed primarily for the espresso machine but can be dripped for those that are seeking a bold but low acidic slightly smokey cup. a classic french style roast creates a layered flavor profile of slight nutmeg and ginger and liveliness not normally found in this roast style.

a thomas hammer ecobrew. bold: one of famous dark roasted blends that is only a few years old but set the bar for what eco-brew sustainable coffees can taste like. with an aroma of brown sugar this rich and bold cup delivers flavors of bittersweet chocolate with hints of maple syrup. it finishes nicely with a lingering smokiness. this is simply one of the best coffee blends we have to offer.

bold: an over the top french roast ladened blend that will satisfy even the most critical palate. a blend of french roast and central american coffee, it delivers a deep, bold flavor of smoky greatness, with medium body, slightly lower acidity and a slight taste of cocoa butter. this blend has been produced since 1995 and is a classic.

smooth: new! this classic guatemalan washed coffee from the huehuetenango region, elevation 4000 ft + has an exceptionally clean and bright taste as well as medium-heavy body to make this a very good guatemalan coffee. the flavor profile delivers those classic chocolate and nutty undertones, with light dusting of fruit essence. generally the acidity is harsher in these central coffees but the pahlu delivers a more refined acidic feel ending with slightly caramel finish. you will not be disappointed with this classic coffee.

smooth: ethiopian yirgacheffe the finest the country has to offer is virtually unknown by most people. this intense feeling coffee enhances the palate with its very distinctive floral bouquet, wine-like syrupy body, notes of tangerine citrus with an overall smooth mellowness that’s unique unto itself. ethiopian yirgacheffe is a washed coffee in which the coffee beans, after having the outer layers of skin and fruity pulp removed, are soaked up to 72 hours in fermentation tanks. beans treated with this "wet" method will generally have a higher acidity, a cleaner winey or floral flavor, and more of a full body than the beans processed by the dry method.
